TODAY

To think that i could forget all about today.

Anyways had work today at 11.30 all the way till 4. Got my first paycheck today. Not exactly the windfall i was expecting. But what you sow is what you reap! Work is tough. i spent the whole time from 2pm onwards wondering if working like that will ever be fruitful for me. But i think this Cartel thing has made me discover so much more about myself and what career i want to pursue in the future. I really love engaging in conversations with people. I delight in their delight. This french couple taught me french today!

Met Aaron after my work. Been awhile since we last met at Orchard. We went to have lunch/ Dinner at Just Acia. Its a cheap place in Dhoby Exchange where they serve asian crusines at considerably low prices. The best part about it is that they supply us with free flow ice cream of any flavour and a wide array of drinks! Our meal cost us 5.90 each. Aaron ordered dory fish which was rather a scam because it was quite a small portion. Nevertheless we enjoyed a laugh or two and numerous root beer floats and cookies and cream icecream. We ate until we almost died! Sent aaron off to work at orchard. He was telling me all the retarded stuff that he does at his job and the costume he has to put on to go to work. It was seriously funny. Imagine bright yellow shirt with 3/4 sleeves. Look like some samurai!

Realised how much i missed talking to him. Time flies. Soon he might be moving on to Poly but honestly i'm gonna miss having him around.

Oh visited YJCG on thursday too. Well not actually a visit considering i led worhsip and had a teaching. Shared to the people about Substitutionary atonement. I've talk to my sheeps about this countless of times and i thank god for the lesson in ULM because it helped me share this once again in a very refreshing manner, both for the people( hopefully if they were listening) and for myself. This has happened so that we can share the gospel with more zeal and passion, now that we have understood the true significance behind the death of JC and our salvation. I happened overhear Sharon sharing to canice about how YJ23 is possible if we trusted God and worked hard together. Thank God for this care group!
