sick day

it was 7.30 and i heard my cell's ring tone. A friend called asked me if i could rush down to northbrooks by 8.30 to relief teach. i said no. it was too abrupt!! Was not feeling well today. Was still hot. i think i have to see the doctor tmr if this fever doesnt go away.

Anyway, i missed work today. The strenuous activities of cartel would have totally drained me. Decided to go shopping with Shawn instead to get teaching costumes for our prospective jobs in schools, hopefully in the near future. We walked the whole orchard searching for the best prices and we ended up spending even a longer time than we ever expected, no thanks to our fickle mindedness. Put 2 people who keep going " okay la anything" together and this is what you get!! we spent close to 4 hours shopping. 4 HOURS! thats crazy for a guy like me.

In anycase we went to bishan for dinner and had a nice long chat with him. Talked about life, ministry and perhaps our impending A level results doom. But i love catching up with him on nights like this because i never fail to learn something new from him everytime. Final Conclusion of the night : to love god more and to trust in his plans for us.

Kaiwen came along at around 10pm to pass me MJ. We're finally reunited! Still feeling sick now and i still got a teaching to touch up for tmr. Its such an honour to be able to share about the Word of God even though i myself am so much less than perfect. I'm grateful for these opportunities because as i teach, i learn and discover so much more about this God whom i love and have decided to give my life to!
