our lives are short but tonight is long!

I am finally enlisting into the Army. A week ago, my phone rang and i got this person on the other side telling me i would be enlisting on April 11th. Came to me as a great shock. In anycase, today is my official last day of freedom.

I got so many things to do, so many things to say. But i guess i would bore myself out if i had written down everything here. Need to go do last meeting shopping for NS, hang out with people and finally a farewell dinner with my family at some fancy restaurant. I'm looking forward to spending time with them. My family are all so sweet to arrange something such as this.

Anyway, i was shopping for toiletries with kesman yesterday. Was looking through the shampoo section....herbal essence...volume, shine...energy....WHEN SUDDENLY, it dawned upon me that I WOULD HAVE NO HAIR TO WASH in the first place. So i conveniently scrapped my Get Shampoo For NS itinery. Save money!

Starting from tomorrow i would be washing my own clothes, ironing stuff, marching around and possibly kicking enemy butt( chances are low though. When i was younger, i remember praying and wishing that if we were ever to go to war, it would be during my NS time. As of yet, i am still unlikely to drop this dream with the full awareness that i would end up with dashed dreams and a broken heart at the end of my 2 years.
